1. Provide legal advice and support to all areas of the business, including but not limited to insurance, asset management, and operations.
2. Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations and advise on their impact on the company's operations.
3. Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks for the company.
4. Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and initiatives.
5. Review and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
7. Represent the company in legal proceedings, such as litigation or arbitration.
8. Advise on legal implications of business strategies and decisions.
9. Build and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and other relevant parties.
10. Communicate legal advice and recommendations to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
11. Develop and implement company-wide policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
12. Provide training and guidance to employees on legal matters.
13. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive legal matters.
14. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture within the legal department and across the company.
