- Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims to determine validity and coverage.
- Communicate effectively with clients, agents, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and provide updates on claim status.
- Analyze and interpret policy language to accurately determine coverage and liability.
- Utilize industry knowledge and company guidelines to evaluate and negotiate settlements with claimants.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim activities, including documentation of investigations, decisions, and payments.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as underwriters and attorneys, to ensure efficient and effective handling of claims.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and laws related to insurance claims.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and professionally to all inquiries and concerns from clients.
- Identify and investigate potential fraud or suspicious claims.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as ethical standards, in all claim activities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve claim handling processes to ensure timely and accurate resolution of claims.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to applicable privacy laws.
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Meet or exceed performance goals and standards set by the company.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Insurance Claims Handling, Preferably In Property And Casualty.
Extensive Knowledge Of Insurance Policies And Regulations, Including State-Specific Requirements.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Accurately Assess And Evaluate Claims.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills To Effectively Interact With Clients, Agents, And Other Stakeholders.
