  1. Oversee all transportation operations for our grocery store chain, including the timely and efficient delivery of goods to our stores.
  2. Manage a team of drivers and ensure they are following all safety protocols and company policies.
  3. Coordinate with various departments, such as inventory and purchasing, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods to our stores.
  4. Develop and maintain transportation schedules and routes to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
  5. Monitor and maintain transportation equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and meets all safety standards.
  6. Ensure compliance with all transportation laws and regulations, including proper licensing and registration for all vehicles.
  7. Implement and maintain policies and procedures for transportation operations to ensure consistency and quality.
  8. Train and develop transportation team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  9. Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  10. Act as a liaison between our company and transportation service providers, negotiating rates and addressing any issues that may arise.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in transportation technology to continuously improve our operations.
  12. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategies to improve overall company performance and customer satisfaction.
  13. Handle any transportation-related emergencies or issues that may arise in a timely and efficient manner.
  14. Maintain accurate records and reports related to transportation operations and provide regular updates to management.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Transportation And Logistics Management.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
