We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Starbucks Barista to join our team at Albertsons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious coffee beverages and providing top-notch service to our valued customers.   1. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos, according to Starbucks standards.
  2. Ensure all drinks are made accurately and efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction.
  3. Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, and take their orders with a positive attitude.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, equipment, and dining area.
  5. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
  6. Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and handling complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Upsell and promote additional products, such as pastries and snacks, to customers.
  8. Create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for customers by maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude.
  9. Operate the cash register and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  10. Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the coffee bar and store.
  11. Stay updated on new menu items, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
  12. Continuously improve skills and knowledge of coffee-making techniques and products.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance.
  14. Follow all safety and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Coffee And Tea Preparation: A Starbucks Barista At Albertsons Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Different Coffee And Tea Brewing Methods, As Well As The Ability To Create Various Coffee-Based Beverages Such As Lattes, Cappuccinos, And Macchiatos.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Barista, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. It Is Important To Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills In Order To Provide Exceptional Customer Service And Ensure A Positive Experience For Each Customer.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: At Albertsons, The Starbucks Department Can Get Busy And It Is Important For A Barista To Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks At Once While Maintaining A High Level Of Efficiency And Quality.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: A Barista Must Pay Close Attention To Details When Taking Customer Orders, Preparing Drinks, And Handling Cash Transactions. This Includes Accurately Measuring Ingredients, Ensuring Correct Drink Temperatures, And Properly Handling Money.

  • Availability To Work Flexible Hours: Most Starbucks Locations At Albertsons Are Open Early Mornings, Evenings, And Weekends. As A Barista, You Must Be Willing And Able To Work A Flexible Schedule To Meet The Needs Of The Store And Its Customers. This May Include Working Holidays And Weekends.
