Welcome to Starbucks at Albertsons! We are seeking a passionate Barista to join our team and provide exceptional service to our customers. As a Barista, you will have the opportunity to craft delicious beverages and create memorable experiences for our guests. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, customer-oriented, and have a love for coffee.   1. Greet and welcome customers to Starbucks at Albertsons with a friendly and positive attitude.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by taking and accurately fulfilling beverage orders.
  3. Craft and prepare high-quality and delicious beverages, following Starbucks recipes and standards.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work station, including regularly cleaning equipment and restocking supplies.
  5. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, building relationships and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  6. Educate customers on Starbucks products and promotions, offering suggestions and recommendations as needed.
  7. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, following all cash handling procedures.
  8. Uphold food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for customers and coworkers.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations, supporting each other to meet customer needs.
  10. Continuously learn and stay updated on new products and procedures to enhance the customer experience.
  11. Display a strong work ethic and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  12. Follow company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance guidelines.
  13. Communicate any customer concerns or suggestions to management in a timely and professional manner.
  14. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the brand and company values.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Barista Experience: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience Working As A Barista, Preferably In A High-Volume Environment. This Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Handle Multiple Orders Efficiently And Maintain A High Level Of Customer Service.

  • Knowledge Of Coffee And Beverage Preparation: A Strong Understanding Of Different Coffee And Tea Varieties, As Well As The Ability To Make Various Espresso-Based Beverages, Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Proper Brewing Techniques And The Ability To Create Latte Art.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Baristas Are Often The Face Of The Store And Are Responsible For Creating A Welcoming And Friendly Atmosphere For Customers. Candidates Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Handle Customer Inquiries And Complaints Professionally.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Working As A Barista Can Be Fast-Paced And Demanding, Especially During Peak Hours. Candidates Should Be Able To Work Efficiently Under Pressure And Maintain A Positive Attitude.

  • Flexibility In Scheduling: As A Barista At Albertsons, Candidates Will Be Expected To Work A Variety Of Shifts, Including Early Mornings, Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. Flexibility In Scheduling Is Important For This Role.
