  1. Maintain accurate inventory records: The Retail Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for regularly updating and maintaining accurate records of all products and items in our inventory management system.
  2. Monitor inventory levels: The Retail Inventory Control Clerk will regularly monitor inventory levels and notify management of any discrepancies or shortages.
  3. Conduct inventory audits: The Retail Inventory Control Clerk will conduct regular audits of physical inventory and compare it to the records in our inventory management system to ensure accuracy.
  4. Receive and process inventory: The Retail Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for receiving and processing all incoming inventory, including verifying quantities and quality.
  5. Coordinate with vendors: The Retail Inventory Control Clerk will communicate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  6. Collaborate with other departments: The Retail Inventory Control Clerk will work closely with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure inventory levels are aligned with business needs.
  7. Identify and report inventory discrepancies: The Retail Inventory Control Clerk will promptly identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory levels to management.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area: The Retail Inventory Control Clerk will ensure that the inventory storage area is clean, organized, and easily accessible to facilitate efficient inventory management.
  9. Assist with inventory forecasting: The Retail Inventory Control Clerk will provide support to the forecasting process by analyzing inventory data and trends to assist with future inventory planning.
  10. Adhere to safety and security protocols: The Retail Inventory Control Clerk will adhere to all safety and security protocols to protect inventory and prevent loss or damage.
  11. Train and support new team members: The Retail Inventory Control Clerk will assist in training and supporting new team members on inventory management processes and procedures.
  12. Continuously improve inventory processes: The Retail Inventory Control Clerk will actively seek out ways to improve inventory processes and make recommendations to management for increased efficiency and accuracy.
