  1. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of refrigeration systems in Albertsons stores.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot any issues with refrigeration systems.
  3. Repair or replace faulty components and equipment as needed.
  4. Monitor and maintain proper temperature and humidity levels in refrigeration units.
  5. Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on refrigeration systems.
  7. Collaborate with store managers and other team members to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
  8. Stay current on industry developments and new technologies in refrigeration systems.
  9. Assist with the installation of new refrigeration units in stores.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  11. Communicate effectively with store management and other team members regarding any issues or concerns.
  12. Provide excellent customer service to store employees and customers.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  14. Work independently and efficiently to complete tasks within given timelines.
  15. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  16. Available for on-call shifts and emergency repairs as needed.
  17. Comply with all regulations and laws related to refrigeration systems and their maintenance.
  18. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the company.
  19. Follow all guidelines and protocols for handling and disposing of refrigerants.
  20. Continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of refrigeration systems in our stores.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge And Experience In Refrigeration Systems: Candidates Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Refrigeration Systems And Their Components, Including Compressors, Evaporators, Condensers, And Controls.

  • Certification And Training: A Refrigeration Technician Should Have Relevant Certifications And Training, Such As Epa 608 Certification, To Handle Refrigerants And Work On Commercial Refrigeration Systems.

  • Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Troubleshooting Skills And The Ability To Diagnose And Resolve Issues With Refrigeration Systems Efficiently.

  • Physical Ability And Safety Awareness: This Job Requires A Significant Amount Of Physical Work, Including Lifting Heavy Equipment, Climbing Ladders, And Working In Tight Spaces. Candidates Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures.

  • Communication And Teamwork: A Refrigeration Technician Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Team Members And Customers. They Should Also Be Able To Work Well In A Team Environment And Collaborate With Other Technicians As Needed.
