  4. Keep accurate records of work performed, including documenting any repairs or replacements made.
  5. Monitor and report on the performance of refrigeration systems, identifying any potential issues and making recommendations for improvements.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working with refrigeration systems.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.
  8. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in refrigeration technology to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  9. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and maintain efficient operations.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  11. Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to any refrigeration-related issues and addressing them in a professional manner.
  12. Train and mentor junior technicians as needed to ensure the successful completion of projects and tasks.
  13. Comply with company policies and procedures, including adhering to budget guidelines and following waste disposal protocols.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Hvac And Refrigeration Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Different Types Of Refrigeration Systems, Including Basic Principles, Components, And Troubleshooting Techniques.

  • Relevant Certifications And Licenses: A Refrigeration Technician At Albertsons Must Possess Relevant Certifications And Licenses, Such As Epa 608 Universal Certification And A Valid Driver's License, To Ensure Compliance With Industry Standards And Regulations.

  • Strong Technical And Mechanical Skills: The Job Requires The Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals, Blueprints, And Schematics To Diagnose And Repair Refrigeration Equipment. Candidates Should Also Have Strong Mechanical Skills To Handle Tools And Equipment.

  • Experience In Commercial Refrigeration: Albertsons Is A Large Grocery Chain With Complex Refrigeration Systems. Candidates With Previous Experience In Commercial Refrigeration, Specifically In A Supermarket Setting, Will Be Given Preference.

  • Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Abilities: Refrigeration Technicians At Albertsons Must Be Detail-Oriented And Have Excellent Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Resolve Issues With Refrigeration Equipment Efficiently.
