  1. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on all refrigeration systems in the store to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration systems, utilizing technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  3. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on refrigeration systems.
  4. Monitor refrigeration equipment and systems to identify potential issues and proactively address them to avoid any disruptions in service.
  5. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure all refrigeration systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when working with refrigeration systems to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
  7. Maintain an inventory of necessary supplies and equipment for the maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices for refrigeration maintenance and repair.
  9. Communicate effectively with store management and other team members to provide updates on the status of refrigeration systems and any potential issues.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to any refrigeration-related concerns from customers and addressing them in a timely and efficient manner.

Job Qualifications

  • Formal Education And Training: A Refrigeration Technician At Albertsons Should Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, As Well As A Certificate Or Degree In Refrigeration Or Hvac Systems.

  • Relevant Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working With Commercial Refrigeration Systems, Preferably In A Retail Or Grocery Store Setting.

  • Technical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Technical Skills And Knowledge Of Refrigeration Systems, Including The Ability To Troubleshoot, Repair, And Maintain Various Types Of Equipment.

  • Certifications: Applicants With Certifications From Industry Organizations Such As The Refrigerating Engineers And Technicians Association (Reta) Or The North American Technician Excellence (Nate) Will Be Given Preference.

  • Physical Requirements: The Job Of A Refrigeration Technician At Albertsons Requires Physical Stamina And The Ability To Work In A Variety Of Environments, Including Cold Temperatures And Confined Spaces. Candidates Should Also Be Able To Lift Heavy Equipment And Stand For Long Periods Of Time.
