1. Assist the pharmacist in accurately and efficiently dispensing medications to customers.
2. Maintain and update patient profiles and medication records in the pharmacy system.
3. Verify and fill prescriptions, ensuring all necessary information and dosages are correct.
4. Prepare and label medications as per the pharmacist's instructions.
5. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
6. Answer customer inquiries and address any concerns or issues regarding their medication.
7. Manage inventory and stock levels, ensuring medications are properly organized and stored.
8. Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
9. Adhere to all pharmacy laws and regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
10. Keep up-to-date with new medications, dosage forms, and other pharmaceutical developments.
11. Assist in billing and insurance processes, including processing claims and resolving any issues.
12. Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing paperwork.
13. Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and follow proper procedures for handling sensitive information.
14. Act as a liaison between the pharmacy and healthcare providers, communicating any necessary information or concerns.
15. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction by actively seeking feedback and addressing any concerns.
