- Maintain inventory levels and order medications as needed.
- Follow all state and federal regulations regarding the handling and dispensing of medications.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing any concerns.
- Assist in the resolution of insurance and billing issues for patients.
- Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify prescription orders and obtain necessary information.

- Handle cash transactions and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
- Proactively identify and report any errors or discrepancies in medication orders.
- Follow proper procedures for labeling, packaging, and storing medications.

- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on pharmaceutical procedures and regulations.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Pharmacy Technician Job At Albertsons Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Math, Science, And Communication Skills.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Certification: Albertsons May Prefer Candidates Who Are Certified By The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) As It Demonstrates A Standard Level Of Knowledge And Skills In Pharmacy Practice.
