- Oversee and manage the stocking and organization of shelves in the store.
- Ensure that all merchandise is accurately and neatly displayed according to company standards.
- Train and supervise a team of stockers to effectively stock and track inventory levels.
- Monitor stock levels and identify when items need to be restocked.
- Collaborate with store management to create a schedule for stocking and restocking activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of stockroom and backroom areas.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to coordinate timely delivery of merchandise.
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to stocking issues.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to identify any discrepancies and take necessary actions to correct them.
- Implement and enforce company safety procedures and practices.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on stock levels, sales trends, and customer preferences.
- Continuously strive to improve stocking processes and efficiency.
- Train new employees on stocking procedures and expectations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective store operations.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience In Managing A Team, Preferably In A Retail Or Grocery Store Setting.
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Abilities, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Deadlines In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Inventory Management Systems And Processes, Including Ordering, Stocking, And Rotating Products.
Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, As Well As Stand For Extended Periods Of Time.
Exceptional Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Interact Professionally With Customers And Resolve Any Issues Or Concerns.
