- Monitor and control expenses, including labor, to ensure department profitability.
- Continuously monitor and analyze market trends and adjust inventory accordingly.
- Create and maintain a positive and welcoming shopping environment for customers.
- Collaborate with other department managers to ensure a cohesive and efficient store operation.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends to drive innovation and improvement in the grocery department.
- Communicate effectively with upper management regarding department performance, goals, and challenges.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members and hold them accountable for results.
- Monitor and maintain product quality, freshness, and rotation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by upper management.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Managerial Role Within The Grocery Industry.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Grocery Store Operations, Including Inventory Management, Ordering, And Merchandising.
Excellent Leadership Skills With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team.
Exceptional Communication And Customer Service Skills.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Pos Systems, With The Ability To Analyze Data And Make Informed Decisions Based On Sales And Financial Reports.
