1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the frozen food department, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products to ensure they are readily available for customers.
2. Monitor inventory levels and make necessary adjustments to ensure adequate stock and prevent overstocking or shortages.
3. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing frozen food section in accordance with company standards.
4. Train and supervise team members on proper stocking, rotation, and storage procedures to ensure quality and freshness of products.
5. Monitor product quality and expiration dates, and take appropriate action to remove expired or damaged items from the shelves.
6. Collaborate with other department supervisors to coordinate and execute promotions, displays, and cross-merchandising opportunities for frozen food products.
7. Communicate with vendors and distributors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
8. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust stock levels accordingly.
9. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations and uphold company standards for health and safety.
10. Create and maintain schedules for team members, approve time-off requests, and manage staffing levels to meet business needs.
11. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving any customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new product offerings to make informed decisions about product selection and merchandising.
13. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to promote their professional growth and development.
14. Assist with setting department goals, developing strategies to achieve them, and tracking progress towards meeting them.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
