- Manage and mentor a team of managed care contracting professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
- Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts related to managed care contracts.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and legal, to ensure contract terms are aligned and in the best interest of the company.
- Continuously evaluate and assess the effectiveness of managed care contracts and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
Strong Understanding Of Managed Care Industry: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Complex Landscape Of Managed Care, Including Knowledge Of Key Players, Industry Trends, And Regulations.
Proven Track Record Of Negotiating Successful Contracts: A Director Of Managed Care Contracting At Albertsons Should Have A Track Record Of Negotiating Favorable And Profitable Contracts With Insurance Companies And Other Managed Care Organizations.
Excellent Communication And Relationship-Building Skills: This Role Requires Effective Communication And Relationship-Building Skills To Establish And Maintain Positive Partnerships With Key Stakeholders, Including Insurance Providers, Healthcare Providers, And Internal Teams.
Financial Acumen: As A Key Member Of The Leadership Team, The Director Of Managed Care Contracting Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial Management And Be Able To Analyze And Interpret Data To Make Informed Decisions That Drive Financial Success.
Leadership And Management Experience: This Role Requires A Candidate With Previous Leadership And Management Experience, As They Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Contract Negotiators And Managing The Overall Performance Of The Managed Care Contracting Department.
