- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, and salads according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by regularly cleaning and sanitizing equipment, countertops, and display cases.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled and stocked to meet customer demand.
- Follow food safety protocols to maintain the freshness and quality of all deli products.
- Communicate with team members and other departments to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Use suggestive selling techniques to promote additional deli products and upsell to customers.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.

Experience In Food Service: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Working In Food Service, Preferably In A Deli Or Similar Setting. This Includes Knowledge Of Food Safety Practices, Customer Service Skills, And Basic Food Preparation Techniques.
Strong Communication Skills: Deli Associates Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Coworkers, And Managers. This Includes Listening To Customer Orders, Answering Questions About Products, And Relaying Information To Team Members.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: This Job Requires The Ability To Multitask And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment. Deli Associates Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Orders And Tasks Simultaneously While Maintaining A High Level Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail.
Food Handling And Safety Certification: Candidates Should Have A Current Food Handling And Safety Certification Or Be Willing To Obtain One Upon Hiring. This Ensures That They Are Knowledgeable About Proper Food Handling Procedures And Can Maintain A Safe And Sanitary Work Environment.
