2. Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, and other specialty items, according to company standards and recipes.
3. Maintain a clean and organized deli department, including regularly sanitizing surfaces, restocking products, and rotating products to ensure freshness.
4. Assist customers with their deli orders, including recommendations and providing information about products.
5. Operate deli equipment, such as slicers and fryers, in a safe and efficient manner.
6. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of customers and coworkers.
7. Keep track of inventory and communicate any stock needs to management.
8. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient deli department operation.
9. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and sales to provide accurate information to customers.
10. Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
11. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
12. Continuously strive to improve deli department processes and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction.
13. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
