As a Deli Associate, you will have the opportunity to interact with our valued customers and provide exceptional service while preparing and serving high-quality deli items.   1. Greet and welcome customers to the deli department in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, such as sandwiches, salads, and meats, according to company standards and recipes.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized deli area, including proper storage and rotation of products.
  4. Assist customers in selecting and weighing deli items, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
  5. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and operating a cash register.
  6. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times, including proper hand-washing, temperature monitoring, and cleaning of equipment.
  7. Collaborate with team members to maintain adequate inventory levels and fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
  8. Communicate with customers and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner, resolving any issues or concerns effectively.
  9. Continuously strive to improve customer service by staying knowledgeable about products, promotions, and company policies.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and dress code.
  11. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the deli manager or department supervisor.

Job Qualifications

  • Attention To Detail: Deli Associates Are Responsible For Preparing And Packaging Food Items, So Attention To Detail Is Crucial. They Must Be Able To Follow Recipes Accurately, Portion Food Correctly, And Ensure That All Products Are Fresh And Properly Labeled.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Deli Department Can Be A Busy And Fast-Paced Environment, Especially During Peak Hours. Candidates Should Be Able To Work Efficiently And Multitask To Keep Up With Customer Demand And Maintain A Clean And Organized Workspace.
