If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Cake Decorator at Albertsons!As a Cake Decorator, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and bring joy to our customers through beautifully decorated cakes and treats. Your eye for detail and artistic abilities will be essential in creating visually stunning and delicious desserts that will leave a lasting impression on our customers.We are looking for someone who is not only skilled in cake decorating, but also has a passion for providing excellent customer service. You should be able to work well under pressure, have excellent time management skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.   1. Create visually stunning and delicious cakes and desserts for customers.
  2. Utilize artistic abilities to decorate cakes and desserts.
  3. Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards.
  4. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with special orders and requests.
  5. Collaborate with bakery team to maintain inventory levels and ensure timely production of cakes and desserts.
  6. Keep work area clean and organized, following food safety guidelines at all times.
  7. Stay up to date with current trends and techniques in cake decorating.
  8. Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Manage time effectively to meet production deadlines.
  10. Communicate with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  11. Offer suggestions and recommendations to customers for cake and dessert designs.
  12. Train and mentor new cake decorators as needed.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  14. Continuously improve skills and techniques to enhance cake decorating abilities.
  15. Take pride in creating high-quality products that bring joy to customers.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior Experience In Cake Decorating: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Cake Decorating, Preferably In A Retail Or Bakery Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Various Cake Decorating Techniques And Designs: The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Different Cake Decorating Techniques Such As Piping, Fondant Work, And Sugar Crafting. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Current Cake Design Trends.

  • Creativity And Attention To Detail: Cake Decoration Is A Highly Creative Field That Requires Attention To Detail. The Candidate Should Be Able To Come Up With Unique And Visually Appealing Designs While Ensuring Precision And Accuracy In Their Work.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: As A Part Of The Bakery Team At Albertsons, The Cake Decorator Will Be Expected To Work Efficiently And Meet Tight Deadlines. The Candidate Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Orders At Once And Work Well Under Pressure.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Cake Decorator At Albertsons Will Interact With Customers Regularly While Taking Orders And Fulfilling Their Requests. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To Ensure Customer Satisfaction.
