  1. Oversee and manage all front-end operations, including cashiers, baggers, and customer service staff.
  2. Ensure that customer service standards are met and maintained at all times.
  3. Train, mentor, and motivate front-end staff to provide exceptional service to customers.
  4. Monitor and maintain accurate cash handling procedures and ensure proper cash management.
  5. Collaborate with store management to create and implement strategies for improving front-end operations.
  6. Assist in scheduling and delegating tasks to front-end staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.
  7. Handle any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized front-end area, including registers, checkouts, and customer service desk.
  9. Monitor and track front-end performance metrics, such as wait times and transaction times, and implement improvements as needed.
  10. Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and products to effectively assist customers and front-end staff.
  11. Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies for the front-end area.
  12. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members and provide feedback and support as needed.
  14. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
  15. Uphold a positive and professional attitude and serve as a role model for front-end staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Retail Management: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Grocery Store Setting.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Assistant Front End Manager Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Cashiers And Baggers, So Strong Leadership Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Feedback, And Motivate Team Members.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Front-Facing Position, The Assistant Front End Manager Must Have Excellent Customer Service Skills. This Includes The Ability To Handle Difficult Situations And Provide Solutions To Customer Concerns.

  • Knowledge Of Front End Operations: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Front End Operations, Including Cash Handling Procedures, Opening And Closing Duties, And Inventory Management.
