- Oversee and manage all front-end operations, including cashiers, baggers, and customer service staff.
- Ensure that customer service standards are met and maintained at all times.
- Train, mentor, and motivate front-end staff to provide exceptional service to customers.
- Monitor and maintain accurate cash handling procedures and ensure proper cash management.
- Collaborate with store management to create and implement strategies for improving front-end operations.
- Assist in scheduling and delegating tasks to front-end staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.
- Handle any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-end area, including registers, checkouts, and customer service desk.
- Monitor and track front-end performance metrics, such as wait times and transaction times, and implement improvements as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and products to effectively assist customers and front-end staff.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies for the front-end area.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide feedback and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
- Uphold a positive and professional attitude and serve as a role model for front-end staff.
Experience In Retail Management: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Grocery Store Setting.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Assistant Front End Manager Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Cashiers And Baggers, So Strong Leadership Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Feedback, And Motivate Team Members.
