As the Assistant Front End Manager at Albertsons, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store runs smoothly and our customers have a positive shopping experience. You will work closely with the Front End Manager to oversee cashiers, baggers, and customer service staff, as well as manage daily operations and handle any customer concerns.   1. Assist the Front End Manager in overseeing daily operations of the store's front end, including cashiers, baggers, and customer service staff.
  2. Ensure that all front end operations are running efficiently and effectively, including cash handling, customer service, and inventory management.
  3. Train and supervise front end staff, providing guidance and support to promote a positive work environment and ensure excellent customer service.
  4. Monitor and maintain accurate cash registers, including troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  5. Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  6. Collaborate with other store departments to ensure overall store success and customer satisfaction.
  7. Assist in creating and implementing strategies to increase sales and improve customer experience.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized front end area, including checkout lanes, bagging stations, and customer service desk.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations.
  10. Continuously monitor and improve front end processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  11. Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to front end staff.
  12. Act as a role model for excellent customer service and professionalism.
  13. Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to effectively assist customers and provide accurate information.
  14. Handle any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Front End Manager or store management.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Retail Management: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Grocery Store Or Supermarket Setting.

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Handle Customer Inquiries And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Knowledge Of Front End Operations: A Thorough Understanding Of Front End Operations, Including Cash Handling Procedures, Inventory Management, And Scheduling.

  • Leadership Abilities: Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team, Delegate Tasks, And Make Decisions In A Fast-Paced Environment.
