As the Assistant Front End Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our front-end department.   1. Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues.
  2. Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the front-end department, including cash handling, customer transactions, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  3. Train and supervise front-end employees, including cashiers and baggers, to ensure they are providing quality service and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  4. Develop and maintain a positive and productive working environment for all front-end employees.
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering necessary supplies as needed.
  6. Collaborate with other department managers to ensure efficient store operations and customer satisfaction.
  7. Handle customer complaints or issues, escalating to the store manager as needed.
  8. Assist in scheduling and managing employee shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  10. Maintain a thorough understanding of products and services offered in the store to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
  11. Continuously seek ways to improve front-end operations and customer experience.
  12. Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to front-end employees.
  13. Promote a positive and professional image of the store and its products and services.
  14. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to all cash handling policies and procedures.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized front-end area, including registers, checkout lanes, and bagging areas.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In A Retail Or Grocery Store Environment, With A Minimum Of 2-3 Years In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team.

  • Knowledge Of Front-End Operations, Including Cash Handling, Customer Service, And Merchandising.

  • Proficiency In Computer Skills, Including Experience With Point-Of-Sale Systems And Inventory Management.

  • Excellent Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize In A Fast-Paced Environment.
