Shipper Helper

The Shipper plays a major role in the final finishing stage of production of Press fabrics for the use in the pulp and paper industry. Ability to load and unload heavy fabrics. Demonstrate the ability to follow packaging instructions, calculate appropriate pipe sizes cut and insert pipes in tubes as needed. Make necessary reporting entries into SAP. Follow packaging instructions for packaging. Operate a forklift - certification required. Assist seam specialists in seaming and timing of specific fabrics. Inspect fabrics (as needed). Ensure that all quality specifications meet required specs. Must be able to safely operate all required tools and equipment. Keep work area clean. Cross-trains to other process. Able to load/unload heavy, large packages when necessary.
