IT Security Researcher

They should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong attention to detail.To be successful in this role, the IT Security Researcher must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a security-related role. In addition, experience with network and application penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and incident response is a plus.We are looking for a motivated professional who can bring their expertise to the table and help ensure Akamai’s success in the ever-evolving security space. Responsibilities:
- Research and develop security solutions to keep up with the changing security landscape.
- Perform network and application penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and incident response.
- Monitor and analyze security trends and developments.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure Akamai’s success in the security space.
- Develop and deploy secure solutions.
- Maintain a strong attention to detail and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work closely with management to ensure security initiatives are implemented effectively.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all security-related documents.
- Provide support and guidance to other teams in the organization.
- Remain up-to-date with the latest security technologies and best practices.
