  1. Develop and implement compensation strategies and programs that align with Akamai Technologies' business goals and objectives.
  2. Conduct market research and analysis to ensure competitiveness and fairness of compensation plans.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Talent Acquisition, to design and implement effective compensation plans.
  4. Review and evaluate existing compensation plans to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changes.
  5. Develop and maintain job descriptions, job levels, and salary structures.
  6. Ensure compliance with all compensation-related laws and regulations.
  7. Monitor and analyze compensation trends and make adjustments to plans as needed.
  8. Communicate compensation plans and policies to employees and managers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external compensation survey providers.
  10. Provide guidance and support to HR and management on compensation-related matters.
  11. Participate in salary surveys and benchmarking activities to ensure competitiveness.
  12. Develop and maintain compensation-related policies and procedures.
  13. Analyze and report on compensation data to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  14. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in compensation.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve compensation processes and systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  16. Manage compensation budget and make recommendations for budget adjustments as needed.
  17. Train and educate managers and HR on compensation-related topics.
  18. Handle compensation-related inquiries and escalations.
  19. Lead and participate in special projects related to compensation as assigned.
  20. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by demonstrating a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Compensation Management Role, Preferably In A Technology Company.

  • Proficiency In Compensation Software And Tools, Such As Adp, Workday, Or Sap.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Data To Make Informed Decisions About Compensation Packages.

  • Knowledge Of Local And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Compensation And Benefits, Such As Flsa And Eeoc.
