Internal Audit Intern

At ADP-Automatic Data Processing, we are looking for an Internal Audit Intern to join our Internal Audit team. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow within the Internal Audit team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be exposed to the operational and financial aspects of the company during their internship and gain valuable experience in the field.The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The candidate should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently and in a team environment, and a strong attention to detail. The candidate must also have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of internal audit plans, test plans, audit fieldwork, and reports • Analyze operational and financial processes and procedures • Identify and evaluate potential risks and areas of improvement • Develop audit programs, procedures, and risk assessment models • Perform audit testing and prepare audit reports • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations • Assist in the preparation of internal audit documents such as audit plans, checklists, work papers, and other documents • Assist in the development and implementation of internal audit processes and procedures • Assist in the investigation of potential fraud or other irregularities • Assist with special audit projects and other related duties as assigned
