Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic legal team at Adobe. As the Senior Legal Counsel for Firefly and Research, you will play a vital role in providing strategic legal advice and support for our innovative and fast-paced Firefly and Research departments.   1. Provide strategic legal advice and support to both the Firefly and Research departments.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  3. Utilize a strong background in intellectual property and technology law to protect Adobe's interests.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in laws and regulations related to the Firefly and Research departments.
  5. Advise on contract negotiations and review contracts to ensure they align with legal requirements and company policies.
  6. Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision making and identify potential risks.
  7. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal agreements, including licensing and partnership agreements.
  8. Maintain and update legal policies and procedures related to the Firefly and Research departments.
  9. Provide training and guidance to team members on legal issues and best practices.
  10. Handle any legal disputes or issues that may arise related to the Firefly and Research departments.
  11. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  12. Continuously assess and improve legal processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-legal team members.
  14. Demonstrate strong leadership skills and serve as a mentor to less experienced legal team members.
  15. Represent Adobe in legal matters related to the Firefly and Research departments.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, With A Focus On Intellectual Property And Technology Law.

  • Demonstrated Expertise In Negotiating And Drafting Complex Contracts, Particularly In The Software Or Technology Industry.

  • Experience Advising On Legal Issues Related To Data Privacy And Security.

  • Strong Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Stakeholders.
