Job Description

As the EHS Regional Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the communities in which we operate.   1. Develop and implement regional EHS policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Conduct regular on-site inspections and audits to identify potential EHS hazards and risks, and work with relevant departments to address and mitigate them.
  3. Provide EHS training and education to all employees, contractors, and visitors, and ensure compliance with EHS regulations and company policies.
  4. Monitor and track EHS performance metrics, and develop strategies to improve EHS performance across the region.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into business operations and decision-making processes.
  6. Serve as the main point of contact for EHS inquiries and concerns from employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  7. Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis, and develop corrective and preventive action plans to prevent recurrence.
  8. Stay up-to-date with relevant EHS laws and regulations, and proactively communicate any changes or updates to the organization.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with local EHS regulatory agencies and community organizations to promote a positive image of the company's EHS practices.
  10. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on EHS performance, initiatives, and progress towards goals and objectives.
  11. Lead emergency response and crisis management efforts, and ensure effective emergency plans and procedures are in place.
  12. Manage the regional EHS budget and resources, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  13. Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility among employees, and promote a strong EHS culture throughout the organization.
  14. Act as a role model for EHS best practices and behaviors, and inspire others to continuously improve EHS performance.
  15. Support company sustainability initiatives and goals, and identify opportunities for environmental stewardship and waste reduction.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Ehs Management, Preferably Within A Large Organization Or Multinational Corporation.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Ehs Regulations, As Well As Experience With International Regulations.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Mentor A Team.

  • Proven Track Record Of Implementing Successful Ehs Programs And Initiatives, And Ensuring Compliance Across All Levels Of The Organization.
