  1. Lead and manage a team of program managers to drive the success of our design operations.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans for design operations, in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  3. Utilize project management skills to ensure efficient and effective execution of design projects.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address issues and roadblocks in design processes.
  5. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the design ops program management team.
  6. Coach, mentor, and provide guidance to program managers to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  7. Monitor and analyze key metrics and data to measure the performance of design operations and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Drive the development and implementation of standardized design processes and workflows.
  9. Communicate and align with senior leadership on design operations strategies and progress.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in both design and program management to continuously improve and optimize design operations.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to support and enhance design operations.
  12. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards in all design operations.
  13. Consistently meet or exceed project deadlines and goals.
  14. Identify and mitigate risks to the success of design operations.
  15. Represent the company and its values in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Program Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Managing Large-Scale Design Operations Programs, Preferably In A Fast-Paced Technology Or Design Company.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Director, Design Ops Program Management At Adobe, The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Leadership Qualities To Manage And Motivate A Team Of Program Managers And Designers. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading Cross-Functional Teams To Deliver High-Quality Design Projects.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Design Processes And Methodologies: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Design Processes, Methodologies, And Tools. They Should Be Able To Identify And Implement Best Practices To Optimize Design Operations And Improve Efficiency.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: The Director, Design Ops Program Management Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Leadership, Designers, And Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, They Should Have Exceptional Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills To Ensure Effective Collaboration And Alignment Across Teams.
