  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of trade compliance for the company, including monitoring and implementing changes in trade regulations and laws.
  2. Provide legal guidance and support to business teams on trade compliance matters, including export controls, sanctions, and customs regulations.
  3. Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure company-wide compliance with trade regulations and laws.
  4. Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate potential trade compliance risks.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in trade regulations to proactively identify potential compliance issues and provide strategic advice to the company.
  7. Train and educate employees on trade compliance laws, regulations, and company policies.
  8. Manage relationships with external legal counsel and government agencies, as needed.
  9. Support the company's international expansion efforts by providing legal advice and ensuring compliance with trade regulations in new markets.
  10. Participate in trade conferences and industry events to stay informed on best practices and network with other trade compliance professionals.
  11. Provide legal support for any trade-related investigations or audits.
  12. Collaborate with global legal teams to ensure consistent and effective trade compliance practices across all regions.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized records of all trade compliance activities and report any potential issues to senior management.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert and resource for all trade compliance matters within the company.
  15. Continuously assess and improve trade compliance processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In International Trade Compliance, With A Focus On Technology And Software Export Regulations.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of U.s. And International Trade Laws And Regulations, Including The Export Administration Regulations (Ear) And The International Traffic In Arms Regulations (Itar).

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Educate Cross-Functional Teams On Trade Compliance Matters.

  • Experience Conducting Internal Investigations And Implementing Compliance Programs To Ensure Adherence To Trade Regulations.
