Job Description

Welcome to Adobe's growing team of Applied Scientists! We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join us as a Firefly Applied Scientist. This role will require a strong background in machine learning, computer vision, and data analysis to develop and improve our firefly detection and tracking technologies. As an Applied Scientist, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and make a meaningful impact on our products.   1. Develop and improve firefly detection and tracking technologies using machine learning, computer vision, and data analysis techniques.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and propose innovative solutions.
  3. Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and patterns in firefly behavior.
  4. Design and implement algorithms and models to accurately detect and track fireflies in various environments.
  5. Continuously evaluate and improve the performance of existing technologies through data analysis and experimentation.
  6. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, computer vision, and data analysis and apply them to enhance our technologies.
  7. Communicate technical concepts and findings to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
  8. Work closely with software engineers to integrate developed technologies into our products.
  9. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
  10. Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  11. Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
  12. Proactively identify and address potential issues and roadblocks in project execution.
  13. Stay organized and maintain clear documentation of research, experiments, and results.
  14. Collaborate with the team to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
  15. Take ownership of assigned projects and drive them to successful completion.

Job Qualifications
  • Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field: A Strong Understanding Of Computer Science Principles And Techniques Is Essential For An Applied Scientist At Adobe, As They Will Be Working With Complex Data And Algorithms.

  • Experience In Machine Learning And Artificial Intelligence: Firefly Is An Ai-Powered Platform, And The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Machine Learning Algorithms.

  • Strong Programming Skills: Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Python, Java, And C++ Is Necessary For An Applied Scientist At Adobe. They Should Also Have Experience Working With Data Structures And Algorithms.
