- Develop and implement company-wide security and compliance strategies and policies to ensure the protection of our company and clients from potential threats.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance standards and ensure that our company is in full compliance.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation plans.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security and compliance requirements are integrated into all business processes and systems.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on security protocols and best practices.
- Lead incident response and crisis management efforts in the event of a security breach.
- Develop and conduct training programs on security and compliance for employees at all levels of the organization.
- Build and maintain relationships with external security and compliance partners, such as auditors and regulators.
- Regularly report on the status of security and compliance efforts to senior leadership and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay informed on the latest security and compliance trends and technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Develop and manage the budget for the security and compliance department.
- Mentor and guide a team of security and compliance professionals, providing support and ensuring their continued development.
- Act as the main point of contact for security and compliance inquiries from clients and partners.
- Drive a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
Extensive Experience In Global Security: The Ideal Candidate For Head Of Global Security, Risk And Compliance At Activecampaign Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Global Security, Preferably In A Leadership Role. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Security Protocols And Procedures, As Well As A Proven Track Record Of Implementing Successful Security Strategies.
Strong Knowledge Of Risk Management: Given The Important Role Of Risk Management In This Position, The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Risk Assessment Methodologies And Risk Mitigation Strategies. This Includes Experience In Identifying And Managing Potential Threats And Vulnerabilities Across Multiple Locations And Business Units.
Compliance Expertise: As A Global Company, Activecampaign Must Comply With Various International Laws And Regulations. The Head Of Global Security, Risk And Compliance Should Have In-Depth Knowledge Of These Laws And Regulations, Including Gdpr, Hipaa, And Iso Standards. The Ideal Candidate Should Also Have Experience Developing And Implementing Compliance Programs And Policies.
Leadership And Communication Skills: The Head Of Global Security, Risk And Compliance Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Security Professionals Across Different Locations. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Diverse Teams And Stakeholders Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.
