- Maintain and organize inventory in the warehouse according to company standards.
- Receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment to customers.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies to management.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders and meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in loading and unloading of trucks and containers.
- Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs for warehouse equipment.

Proven Experience In Warehouse Operations: The Ideal Candidate For A Warehouse Specialist Position At Ace Hardware Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Warehouse Operations. This Includes Knowledge Of Inventory Management, Receiving And Shipping Procedures, And Operating Various Types Of Warehouse Equipment.
Strong Organizational And Multitasking Skills: A Warehouse Specialist At Ace Hardware Is Responsible For Managing Multiple Tasks Simultaneously. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Organizational Skills To Keep Track Of Inventory, Orders, And Shipments, While Also Being Able To Prioritize Tasks Effectively.
Proficient In Operating Warehouse Equipment: The Job Of A Warehouse Specialist At Ace Hardware Involves Operating Various Types Of Warehouse Equipment Such As Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Hand Trucks. The Candidate Should Have A Valid Forklift Operator Certification And Be Comfortable Using Other Equipment.
Attention To Detail And Accuracy: In A Warehouse Setting, Even A Small Error Can Cause Significant Issues. Therefore, A Warehouse Specialist Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Maintain A High Level Of Accuracy In All Tasks, Including Inventory Management, Order Picking, And Packing.
