As a Traffic Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of our products to our stores.   1. Coordinate and monitor the transportation and delivery of products to our stores.
  2. Plan and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery and minimize shipping costs.
  3. Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure efficient and accurate delivery.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipping and delivery schedules.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and work with purchasing department to replenish stock as needed.
  6. Identify and resolve any potential issues or delays in the delivery process.
  7. Continuously evaluate and improve shipping and delivery processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and seamless flow of products.
  9. Ensure compliance with all transportation and safety regulations.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  11. Keep track of and report any transportation and delivery-related expenses.
  12. Train and supervise junior traffic coordinators, if applicable.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in transportation and logistics.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service to our stores and vendors.
  15. Handle any other duties or responsibilities related to shipping and delivery as assigned by management.

  • Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills: A Traffic Coordinator At Ace Hardware Must Have The Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Projects Simultaneously, While Ensuring Deadlines Are Met And Priorities Are Properly Aligned.

  • Experience With Inventory And Supply Chain Systems: Familiarity With Inventory Management Systems And Supply Chain Processes Is Crucial For A Traffic Coordinator At Ace Hardware, As They Will Be Responsible For Maintaining Accurate Inventory Levels And Tracking Shipments Throughout The Supply Chain.
