- Greet and welcome customers to the store with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Assist customers in finding products and providing recommendations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment by regularly spot-checking and tidying up shelves and displays.
- Monitor and report any safety hazards or potential risks in the store, including spills, damaged products, or other potential safety concerns.
- Attend to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled and priced according to store standards.
- Assist in restocking and replenishing products on the sales floor as needed.
- Collaborate with store associates and management to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Uphold store policies and procedures, including but not limited to, store security and cash handling.
- Continuously seek ways to improve store operations and customer experience.
- Attend and participate in store meetings and training sessions as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the company in a positive manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by store management.
Knowledge Of Hardware Products: A Spotter At Ace Hardware Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Various Hardware Products Available At The Store. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Tools, Equipment, And Building Materials.
Attention To Detail: Spotting Requires A Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Identify Potential Hazards Or Issues With Product Placement And Organization. A Spotter Should Be Able To Quickly Spot Any Misplaced Or Damaged Items And Take Appropriate Action.
Physical Stamina: This Job Requires A Lot Of Physical Activity, Including Lifting Heavy Items, Standing For Long Periods Of Time, And Moving Quickly Around The Store. Candidates Should Be In Good Physical Condition And Able To Handle The Demands Of The Job.
Customer Service Skills: As A Spotter, You Will Interact With Customers On A Regular Basis. It Is Important To Have Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills To Assist Customers With Their Needs And Provide A Positive Shopping Experience.
Organizational Skills: In Order To Maintain A Clean And Organized Store, A Spotter Must Have Strong Organizational Skills. This Includes Being Able To Prioritize Tasks, Keep Track Of Inventory, And Maintain A Neat And Tidy Store Appearance.
