1. Receive and process incoming merchandise, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Prepare merchandise for shipment to stores, including packaging and labeling.
3. Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, reporting any discrepancies to management.
4. Maintain organized and efficient inventory management systems.
5. Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and stores to resolve any shipping or receiving issues.
6. Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures in the shipping and receiving area.
7. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
8. Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
9. Assist in physical inventory counts and reconciliations.
10. Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and procedures related to shipping and receiving.
11. Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
12. Provide exceptional customer service to stores and other stakeholders.
13. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to shipping and receiving.
14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
