Customer Service Skills: A Seasonal Sales Associate At Ace Hardware Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Exceptional Customer Service. This Includes The Ability To Greet And Assist Customers, Answer Their Questions, And Recommend Products.
Knowledge Of Hardware Products: Candidates Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Hardware Products Such As Tools, Home Improvement Items, And Outdoor Equipment. This Includes Being Able To Identify Products, Their Uses, And Provide Recommendations To Customers.
Sales Experience: Previous Sales Experience Is Preferred For This Role As It Involves Actively Promoting And Selling Products To Customers. Candidates Should Be Able To Upsell And Cross-Sell Products To Increase Sales And Meet Sales Targets.
Physical Ability: As A Seasonal Sales Associate, Candidates Must Be Able To Stand, Walk, And Lift Heavy Items For Extended Periods Of Time. They Should Also Have The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks At Once.
Availability: Seasonal Sales Associates Are Required To Work During Peak Business Hours, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. Candidates Should Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Willing To Work Overtime During Busy Periods.
