As a seasonal cashier, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process for our customers. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and have a positive attitude. If you are a team player with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills, we would love to have you on our team.   1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Operate cash register and handle all sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  3. Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving any customer concerns or questions.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  5. Assist customers in finding products and provide product knowledge when necessary.
  6. Ensure accurate pricing and scanning of all items.
  7. Process cash, credit, and debit card payments and issue receipts.
  8. Keep track of inventory and report any discrepancies to management.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
  11. Maintain a positive attitude and foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers and team members.
  12. Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
  13. Follow proper cash handling and accounting procedures.
  14. Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
  15. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while handling cash and credit transactions.
  16. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide exceptional service.
  17. Assist with restocking and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.
  18. Be flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  19. Adhere to all company dress code and grooming standards.
  20. Continuously strive to improve customer service and contribute to a positive work environment.

  • Previous Cash Handling Experience: A Seasonal Cashier At Ace Hardware Should Have Previous Experience Handling Cash Transactions, Including Counting Money, Making Change, And Operating A Cash Register.
