  3. Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers on DIY projects and home improvement.
  4. Assist customers in finding the right products for their specific needs and budget.
  5. Use sales techniques to upsell and promote additional products.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and stocked.
  7. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  8. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Sales Associate At Ace Hardware Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers, Understand Their Needs, And Provide Them With The Right Products And Solutions.

  • Knowledge Of Hardware Products: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Various Hardware Products Sold At Ace Hardware, Including Tools, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, And Gardening Supplies.

  • Customer Service Oriented: As A Sales Associate, One Must Have A Customer-First Approach And Be Able To Provide Exceptional Service To All Customers, Addressing Their Concerns And Inquiries In A Friendly And Professional Manner.

  • Sales Experience: Previous Experience In A Sales Role Is Preferred, As Sales Associates At Ace Hardware Are Responsible For Driving Sales And Meeting Their Individual And Store Sales Goals.

  • Physical Stamina: This Role Requires Physical Stamina As Sales Associates May Be Required To Lift And Move Heavy Items, Stand For Extended Periods, And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment. Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks Efficiently.
