We are currently seeking a motivated and personable Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers find the right products and providing exceptional service.   1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist customers in finding the products they need and provide recommendations based on their specific needs.
  3. Ensure product knowledge and stay updated on new products and promotions.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking and organizing shelves and displays.
  5. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.
  7. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a positive customer experience.
  8. Meet and exceed sales goals and targets set by management.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the store.
  10. Continuously improve knowledge of products and services to better assist customers.
  11. Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and team members.
  13. Uphold the company's values and mission statement in all interactions with customers.
  14. Assist with inventory management and stock control.
  15. Maintain a safe and clean work environment for customers and employees.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Hardware Products: A Successful Sales Associate At Ace Hardware Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Various Hardware Products Sold By The Store, Such As Tools, Building Materials, And Home Improvement Products.

  • Customer Service Skills: Sales Associates At Ace Hardware Are Expected To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To All Customers, Including Helping Them Find Products, Answering Questions, And Resolving Any Issues Or Complaints.

  • Sales Experience: Previous Sales Experience, Either In A Retail Or Customer Service Setting, Is Highly Desirable For A Sales Associate At Ace Hardware. This Experience Can Demonstrate An Ability To Communicate Effectively With Customers And Meet Sales Goals.

  • Physical Stamina: The Role Of A Sales Associate Often Requires Standing For Extended Periods, Lifting And Carrying Heavy Objects, And Other Physical Tasks. Therefore, Candidates Should Possess Physical Stamina And Be Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.

  • Team Player: At Ace Hardware, Sales Associates Work Closely With Other Team Members To Ensure The Store Runs Smoothly And Customers Are Satisfied. A Successful Candidate Should Be A Team Player, Able To Collaborate And Communicate Effectively With Others.
