Ace Hardware is currently seeking a Retail Sales Associate and Cashier to join our dynamic team.As a Retail Sales Associate and Cashier, you will be the face of our store, interacting with customers on a daily basis and providing them with the best shopping experience possible. Your main responsibilities will include assisting customers with product inquiries, restocking shelves, and processing sales transactions.To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who have a friendly and outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and a strong knowledge of hardware and home improvement products.   1. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Answer customer inquiries and provide product recommendations and information.
  3. Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
  4. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  5. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  6. Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming products and promotions.
  7. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  8. Follow all company policies and procedures, including cash handling and inventory management.
  9. Attend and actively participate in training sessions to continually improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
  10. Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards customers and co-workers.
  11. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment for customers.
  12. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
  13. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  14. Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by the store manager.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Retail Sales Associates And Cashiers At Ace Hardware Must Have A Friendly And Approachable Demeanor, As They Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Candidates Should Possess A Basic Understanding Of These Products And Be Able To Answer Customer Questions And Make Recommendations Based On Their Needs.

  • Strong Multitasking And Organizational Skills: Retail Sales Associates And Cashiers Are Often Responsible For Multiple Tasks At Once, Including Restocking Shelves, Assisting Customers, And Handling Cash Transactions. The Ability To Prioritize And Stay Organized In A Fast-Paced Environment Is Crucial For Success In This Role.
