  1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist customers with finding products, providing recommendations, and answering any questions they may have.
  3. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's point of sale system.
  4. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to effectively communicate with customers.
  5. Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing, including restocking shelves and displaying merchandise.
  6. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a prompt and courteous manner.
  7. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and positive shopping experience for customers.
  8. Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers.
  9. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
  10. Meet sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the store.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer service and sales skills.
  12. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
  13. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  14. Attend and participate in store meetings and trainings as required.
  15. Follow all opening and closing procedures to ensure the store is ready for business each day.

  • Product Knowledge: It Is Important For A Retail Sales Associate And Cashier To Have A Good Understanding Of The Products Sold At Ace Hardware. This Includes Knowing The Features And Benefits Of Different Products, As Well As Being Able To Recommend Products To Customers Based On Their Needs.

  • Teamwork And Communication Skills: Working In A Retail Environment Requires Good Teamwork And Communication Skills. The Individual Should Be Able To Work Well With Others And Communicate Effectively With Both Customers And Colleagues.
