Ace Hardware is seeking a Retail Sales Associate and Cashier to join our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to interact with customers, learn about our wide range of products, and assist in the cashiering process. We are looking for someone who is reliable, personable, and eager to learn. If you have a positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond for our customers, then we want you on our team!

  1. Greet and engage customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and assisting with any concerns or issues.
  3. Actively listen to customer needs and find solutions by utilizing product knowledge and sales techniques.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are displayed accurately and in a visually appealing manner.
  5. Ring up customer purchases accurately and efficiently using a cash register or POS system.
  6. Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions and handle returns and exchanges.
  7. Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and store operations.
  8. Continuously learn about new products and promotions in order to effectively assist customers.
  9. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
  10. Assist with inventory management by restocking products and conducting regular inventory counts.
  11. Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and products.
  12. Uphold a professional and approachable demeanor at all times, representing the company in a positive manner.
  13. Proactively identify and resolve any customer complaints or issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  14. Adhere to all safety and security protocols to protect company assets and ensure a safe working environment.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
