  1. Greet and welcome customers to Ace Hardware with a positive and friendly attitude.
  2. Engage and interact with customers to understand their needs and provide assistance with product selection.
  3. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by providing helpful and knowledgeable recommendations.
  4. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring a positive and welcoming shopping experience for customers.
  6. Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products, services, and store policies.
  7. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels.
  9. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  10. Continuously develop product knowledge to stay informed about new and existing merchandise.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  12. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Customer Service Experience: A Retail Sales Associate And Cashier At Ace Hardware Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Customer-Facing Role. This Could Include Retail, Hospitality, Or Other Customer Service Positions.

  • Product Knowledge: A Strong Understanding Of The Products Sold At Ace Hardware Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Hardware, Tools, Home Improvement, And Outdoor And Gardening Products.

  • Cash Handling Skills: As A Cashier, The Candidate Should Have Experience Handling Cash, Credit, And Debit Transactions Accurately And Efficiently. They Should Also Be Comfortable Using A Cash Register And Other Point-Of-Sale Systems.

  • Communication Skills: A Retail Sales Associate And Cashier Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Interact With Customers And Fellow Employees. This Includes Being Able To Answer Questions, Provide Product Recommendations, And Handle Customer Complaints Effectively.

  • Physical Stamina: This Position May Require Standing For Long Periods, Lifting Heavy Items, And Moving Around The Store Frequently. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have The Physical Stamina To Handle These Tasks And Provide Excellent Customer Service Throughout Their Shift.
