Job Description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate and Cashier at Ace Hardware.   1. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and addressing customer needs and concerns.
  3. Actively promote and sell products, services, and loyalty programs to customers.
  4. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, and restock merchandise as needed.
  6. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions to effectively assist customers.
  7. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  8. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment.
  9. Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.
  10. Participate in training and development opportunities to improve job knowledge and skills.
  11. Meet and exceed sales goals and targets set by management.
  12. Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment accurately and securely.
  13. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
  14. Ensure proper pricing and labeling of merchandise.
  15. Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
  16. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, dress code, and punctuality.
  17. Handle all customer interactions with discretion, confidentiality, and sensitivity.
  18. Continuously seek to improve the customer experience and offer suggestions for process improvement.
  19. Proactively identify and communicate potential issues or concerns to management.
  20. Continuously strive to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.
