1. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's point-of-sale system.
2. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their merchandise inquiries.
3. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including keeping the cash register and surrounding area clean and free of clutter.
4. Ensure the store is well-stocked at all times by restocking merchandise and notifying management of any low inventory levels.
5. Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the store.
6. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and cash handling procedures.
7. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and fellow team members.
8. Continuously strive to improve customer service by staying up-to-date on product knowledge and store promotions.
9. Assist with other duties as assigned by management, such as restocking merchandise and organizing displays.
10. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
11. Keep accurate records of all transactions and perform end-of-day cash reconciliation.
12. Attend store meetings and training sessions as required.
13. Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality when handling customer information and company resources.
14. Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe working environment for customers and team members.
15. Contribute to a positive and productive team environment by communicating effectively and collaborating with team members.
