As a Retail Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and efficient checkout experience for our customers.   1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store.
  2. Ring up customer purchases accurately and efficiently using a cash register.
  3. Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  6. Promote and upsell products to customers at the checkout counter.
  7. Keep track of inventory levels and notify management when products need to be restocked.
  8. Follow all company safety and security procedures to prevent theft and loss.
  9. Handle returns and exchanges in a timely and courteous manner.
  10. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process.
  11. Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies.
  12. Maintain a positive attitude and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
  13. Follow all cash handling procedures and adhere to all company policies and guidelines.
  14. Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.
  15. Handle customer complaints and escalate to management when necessary.
  16. Maintain a high level of accuracy in all cash transactions.
  17. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and targets.
  18. Assist in stocking and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
