Receiving Clerk

Identify incoming trucks and verify accuracy of receiving documents. Responsible for noting any damage on incoming shipments and notifying the proper departments. Ensures accuracy and proficiency on all jobs. Ensures inventory accuracy in all transactions. Assists in resolving any discrepancies. Collects all documentation for inbound freight and routes to the proper record keeping unit. Report to supervisor regarding any issues or discrepancies. Follow all safety rules/regulations, company procedures and policies. Assures that all work areas are kept clean, neat and orderly. Perform other duties as required. Answer phones and book delivery appointments. Using computers and computer system to enter data and process information.
