Welcome to The UPS Store at Ace Hardware! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Part Time Center Sales Associate. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and support the daily operations of our store. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others, has a positive attitude, and is able to work independently.   1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their inquiries and needs.
  3. Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  5. Process and package customer orders efficiently.
  6. Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves.
  7. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  8. Promote and upsell products and services to customers.
  9. Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  10. Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and store policies.
  11. Adhere to company standards and procedures.
  12. Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  13. Contribute to a positive and welcoming work environment.
  14. Attend training and meetings as required.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Customer Service Skills: A Successful Part-Time Center Sales Associate At The Ups Store - Ace Hardware Must Possess Excellent Customer Service Skills And Be Able To Interact With Customers In A Friendly And Professional Manner. This Includes The Ability To Handle Customer Complaints And Provide Solutions To Meet Their Needs.

  • Retail Sales Experience: Previous Experience In A Retail Sales Environment Is Preferred For This Position. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Knowledge Of Sales Techniques, Such As Upselling And Cross-Selling, And Be Able To Meet Sales Targets.

  • Computer Skills: As A Center Sales Associate, You Will Be Responsible For Operating Various Computer Systems And Software Programs To Process Transactions, Print Shipping Labels, And Manage Inventory. Proficiency In Basic Computer Skills Is Required For This Role.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ups Store - Ace Hardware Prides Itself On Providing Accurate And Efficient Services To Its Customers. Therefore, Candidates For This Position Must Have Strong Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Transactions Are Processed Correctly And All Customer Information Is Accurate.

  • Ability To Work Flexible Hours: The Position Of A Part-Time Center Sales Associate At The Ups Store - Ace Hardware May Require Working Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. Candidates Must Be Able To Work A Flexible Schedule And Be Available To Work During Peak Business Hours.
