Welcome to Ace Hardware, a neighborhood hardware store with a passion for providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate to join our Keys department. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting our customers with their hardware needs, specifically in the area of keys. We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented individual with a strong knowledge of hardware products and a desire to help others. If you are a self-motivated team player with a flexible schedule, we would love to have you join our dedicated and enthusiastic team at Ace Hardware.

  1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist customers in the keys department by providing knowledgeable and helpful service.
  3. Demonstrate a strong understanding of hardware products, particularly in the area of keys, to effectively assist customers.
  4. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards customers at all times.
  5. Provide accurate and efficient product information and recommendations to customers.
  6. Operate cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  7. Keep the keys department clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
  8. Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
  9. Continuously learn about new products and procedures to better serve customers.
  10. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
  11. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
  12. Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
  13. Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the store and customers.
  14. Take initiative to complete tasks and assist with other store duties as needed.
  15. Uphold the Ace Hardware brand and values by providing exceptional customer service and promoting a positive image of the company.

This Includes Being Able To Listen Actively, Answer Questions, And Provide Clear And Concise Information.

  • Ability To Work Flexible Hours: As A Part-Time Employee, The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Work Flexible Hours, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. This Is Important To Ensure Coverage During Busy Periods And To Provide Excellent Customer Service At All Times.

  • Ability To Operate Cash Register And Handle Transactions: A Key Responsibility Of A Sales Associate Is To Handle Transactions And Operate The Cash Register Accurately. The Candidate Should Have Prior Experience With Cash Handling And Basic Math Skills To Perform This Task Efficiently.
